I have to say that this place has gone down hill tremendously. Unfortunately, the same occurred during check-out, and she was in lline for 30 minutes. check-out, would not extent a later check-out, t and my wife handled check-out. This property strictly enforced the 11:00 a.m. The registration clerk had to call a manager to confirm the convention rate rather than the normal weekday rate ($130.00). On a less postive note, we had to feeling of being 'processed' during registration and check-out. This one of the few casinos that has a great view of the Gulf. The retails shops are limited (10), with 1 jewelry shop and other shops that sell way over-priced clothing. This property is part of the MGM family of casinos, and it has the feel of a Las Vegas casino. I have been told that this property is the best of the 9 casinos on the Mississippi Gulf Coast.

We had stayed at the IP on several occassions, but the Beau is far superior. My wife and I stayed at this property from Wednesday, July 25 - Friday, July 27, in connection with a business trip.
